Seating for senior living residences and care homes
In a senior residence, a chair is a tool for independence: residents should be able to sit down and get up on their own, safely, without giving up a warm, homely interior.
Our healthcare seating combines supportive armrests, suitable seat heights, reclining mechanisms and moving handles with a residential look, far from the feel of a hospital.

How to choose your senior living seating
Armrests come first
Long, sturdy armrests give residents something to push up from when standing: the number one criterion for a chair or armchair for older people.
Recliner or riser?
A recliner tilts the back and raises the legs for resting. Versions with an assisted mechanism make it easier to operate for residents and staff alike.
Hygiene
Choose waterproof, easy-to-disinfect upholstery, with removable cushions where possible.
Frequently asked questions
Are the cushions removable?
It depends on the model: the Valldemossa armchair comes with a fixed or removable seat cushion, and several models can take a headrest cushion. The options for each model are listed on its product page.
Do you offer electric riser recliners?
Yes: Valldemossa, Fornalutx and Llucmajor can be fitted with a riser motor that helps residents to stand, and a synchronised motor for the back and leg rest, with or without a battery.
