Silent hotel minibars

A hotel minibar should go unnoticed at night and get noticed during the day. Ours run without a compressor: no noise and no vibration, even right next to the bed.

Two ranges for two approaches. A glass door shows off the drinks and lifts sales; a solid door blends into the joinery and keeps the room private. Both come in 30 or 40 litres, in black or white.

How to choose your minibars

Glass door or solid door?

An LED-lit glass door works like a shop window: guests see what's on offer without opening it, which encourages them to buy. A solid door suits classic rooms, furniture niches and properties that offer complimentary water rather than selling drinks.

30 or 40 litres?

30 litres is enough for water, soft drinks and a few miniatures. 40 litres takes wine bottles and 50 cl formats, which is useful for suites and longer stays.

Why thermoelectric?

With no compressor and no refrigerant gas, the cooling comes from a thermoelectric module: no start-up noise, no vibration and almost no maintenance. It is the most widely used technology in hotel rooms, precisely because it doesn't disturb sleep.

Fitting it into furniture

Allow for a ventilated niche, with a few centimetres of air behind and above the unit. If we are also making your furniture, our design office sizes the niche at the drawing stage.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does a compressor-free minibar keep drinks cold enough?

For in-room use, yes: it keeps drinks chilled around the clock. It isn't designed to freeze or to chill a batch of warm bottles quickly, so it's best stocked with drinks that are already cold.

Can the minibar carry the hotel's logo?

Yes, the door can be personalised with your logo above a minimum quantity. Just mention it in your quote request.

What energy rating do they have?

Class D for the glass-door models, and E (30 L) or F (40 L) for the solid-door models, under the EU energy label.
