Grab bars and shower seats for accessible hotel rooms
Accessible rooms need secure support around the toilet and in the shower. Chosen well, this equipment also reassures older or injured guests, without making the bathroom look clinical.
Straight bars, corner bars, drop-down bars and shower seats: in AISI 304 stainless steel, white epoxy or nylon, or matt black, tested up to 120 kg (200 kg for some seats).

How to choose your accessible bathrooms
What French regulations require
For public buildings in France whose planning application was filed after 1 July 2017, the order of 20 April 2017 requires, among other things, a side grab bar fixed between 0.70 and 0.80 m from the floor in accessible toilets. Outside France, local rules apply. Always have your layout approved by your building inspector or architect.
Fixed or drop-down bar?
A drop-down bar folds up against the wall to free the space for a sideways transfer from a wheelchair: essential on the transfer side. A fixed bar, straight or angled, suits the opposite wall and the shower.
A design that doesn't feel like a hospital
Satin stainless steel or matt black finishes match the rest of the bathroom accessories, so the accessible room can look as good as any other.
